Do you have a license?

Yes, I have a Retail Food Establishment License and I run my business out of a separate commercial kitchen in my home.

How far in advance should I book a cake?

Because it is my goal to make the each and every cake personal and creative I only accept a limited number of cakes weekly.  With that being said it is important to book your cake as soon as you can to ensure your wedding/party date!

If we get a fake cake for display and serve sheet cakes is it cheaper than having a real wedding cake?

In short, no. Most of the cost of a wedding cake is in the time and artistic technique required to decorate, which is the same whether using styrofoam or cake. The cost of the styrofoam used in “display” cakes is the same as the ingredients for a real cake anyway, but if using a fake cake we still need to buy ingredients for the real sheet cakes and then spend even more time decorating them. So in actuality you will be paying more for the “fake cake/sheet cakes” method than by ordering the necessary number of servings in your wedding cake.
